Kyle was born December 30, 1983 in Chicago. He grew up going to private schools in the Chicago area. While in high school, Kyle was an honors student and National Merit Finalist offered a full tuition scholarship to the Honors College at University of Arizona.

Shortly after begining his studies at the University of Arizona, Kyle decided to follow his creative interests and moved back to Chicago where he played guitar in a band. He and the band later moved to New York for a period, before Kyle shifted his focus to painting and moved back to Chicago. He spent a year studying painting and working on his portfolio before applying for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Upon acceptance, Kyle was offered the Merit Recognition Scholarship for the strength of his portfolio. In the Spring of 2007, Kyle graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA with Emphasis in Art Education.

Since graduating from SAIC, Kyle has been working hard teaching art in the suburbs of Chicago while continuing work on his own paintings. During his first year of teaching, Kyle designed and coordinated the creation of a multiple works that have become permanent installations in his school including a mural thirty six feet long, a relief sculpture approx. eight feet by ten feet and his painting of the school's mascot is on display in the main office.
